I'm The World's Largest Procrastinator

The title says it all. Here I am half an hour before class writing my blog. It's not that I don't want to do my work, it's just that I get so distracted by all the other things I want to do that I just completely forget about the things I need to do. That is definitley the number one thing I want to learn right now. How to manage my time better to where I can have everything I need done, done without forgetting to do it. I hate feeling so stressed out because I can't find time to do all of my school work and all of my chores and spend time with my family, friends, boyfriend, etc. I want to be able to fit it all in, so that I can make everyone, including myself happy. If anyone reading this has any suggestions on how to be better at time management and not so good at being a procrastinator, please by all means comment me this with your ideas. Any little suggestion would help.
Actually, on top of all of this, my car has been sitting in my driveway for like three months now because I need to replace the timing belt, water pump, alternator, battery, ac condensor, I'm sure the list goes on. It's a great car: 2002 volkswagen Jetta turbo diesel, with 160k miles I put on it.(explaining the mechanical trouble) I just need to get off my butt and get it done even if its going to take me hours upon hours of mechanical labor.
Anyways, please if you have any suggestions on how to be less of a procrastinator and more of a time manager, let me know. :)

  1. Create a schedule for yourself and actually print it out and put it somewhere in plain view. Select a time that you can do your blog (or anything other thing you need to do) and do it at that same time and day each week. At first you might have to really work to stay on schedule, but eventually it will become second nature.

  2. Totally agree with you! I am such a procrastinator and after years of being told ways to change that, i still havent. I dont think ill grow out of it anytime soon either. I do better under stress, not sure how it works for you, but either way, you got your first post done!

  4. Usually when i'm procrastinating its because i haven't done something productive in a little while..so i pick something easy. and more importantly, finish it. once i finish one easy thing i barely even notice that i'm up doing the harder stuff.
